Why learn about the Bible? Isn’t it old fashioned and outdated? Pointless and unnecessary?
Our local and national daily newspapers are
full of reports of increased crime rates, addiction and depression becoming worryingly common in the younger generation. It may surprise you that the Bible can provide the answer to these and other problems. It’s a book that’s as relevant today as it was when it was written centuries ago.
That’s where Bible Explorers comes in.
Bible teachings can give children a really positive set of values and a sense of purpose in life, as well as respect for other people and the world we live in. It’s not about indoctrinating children with far-fetched beliefs; the Bible teaches principles and encourages positivity, optimism and hope for the future. By learning these things, our children can be better equipped with the tools to live respectful, loving, honest, lives – values notably lacking in our society today as a whole.
So, Bible Explorers can have genuine benefits.
We currently have classes catering for children up to the age of 10. The children have lots of fun with craft activities, singing and Bible stories; all the time building life-skills and friendships.
And just so you parents don’t miss out, we run an adult Bible learning session at the same time in the same place. Take a look at our Adult Bible Session page.
As a matter of course we offer a safe and friendly environment as all our teachers and helpers are experienced working with children and are DBS checked.
